The genes of our immune system, Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) Genes, are the identified cause for testing "positive" on so-called "HIV tests." HLA Genes are extremely variable, and through gene expression, our bodies produce RNA and proteins, and these can make the test register "positive."
