ዶክተር ነሞ ሥምረት በአሁን ሰዓት በGoogle ኩባንያ ውስጥ በኢንጂኔርነት እየሰራ ይገኛል። ተወልዶ ያደገው በአዲስ አበባ ሲሆን አብዛኛውን እድሜውን ያሳለፈው ከሃገር ውጭ ነው። የዶክትሬት ዲግሪውን ታዋቂ ከሆነው Columbia University, New York በኤሌክትሪካል ኢንጂኔሪንግ የተቀበለ ሲሆን፤ የማስተርስ እና ባችለርስ ዲግሪውንም በኤሌክትሪካል ኢንጂኔሪንግና ማይነር በሒሳብ ከMcGrill University, Canada ተቀብሏል። ዶክተር ነሞ በርከት ያሉ የፈጠራ ባለቤትነት ስራዎችን (patents) በስሙ አስመዝግቧል። በGoogle ዋና የስራ ሃላፊነቱ በተጨማሪም ብዙ ከኢትዮጵያ ጋር በቀጥታ የሚዛመዱ የGoogle ፕሮጀክቶች ላይም ሰርቷል ሰለነሱም ያጫውተናል።
Dr. Nemo Semret is currently working for Google as an engineer and Tech Lead. Born in Addis, he spent most of his life overseas. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the most prestigious Columbia University, New York. He also received his MSc. BSc. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics with Honors from McGill University, Canada. He currently holds several US patents. Beside his main responsibility as a tech lead at Google, Dr. Nemo worked on several Google projects that are directly related and relevant to Ethiopia and he will tell us about that in detail as well.
