The education sector has been a very traditional one - a classroom set up where the teacher gives a lecture in front of his/her students. However, in this digital age, the education system is changing drastically due to technological advancements. Do you know the online-learning market is growing so big? It is expected to reach $37.8B globally by 2020. I will present to you some of the highlights around this movement. I will also present to you one of the several individuals who try to bring about change in the education sector in Ethiopia by introducing an e-learning platform. Enjoy!

የትምህርት ዘርፍ ብዙ ግዜ የሚታወቀው በተለመደው መንገድ ክፍል ውስጥ ተቀምጠን ከአስተማሪዎቻቸን በምንማርበት አሰራር ነው። ነገር ግን ከበርካታ የቴክኖሎጂ ፈጠራዎች የተነሳ ይህ አሰራር ብቻውን የማይቀጥልበት መንገድ ይፋ እየሆነ የመጣ ይመስላል። የትምህርት ቴክኖሎጂ ዓለም አቀፍ የኢኮኖሚ አቅም በ2020 ዓ.ም. 37.8 ቢሊዮን ዶላር ሊደርስ እንደሚችል ያውቃሉ? ከዚሁ ቴክኖሎጂ ጋር በተያያዘ አንዳንድ እውነታዎችን አስቃኛችኋለሁ። የትምህርቱን ሂደት በቴክኖሎጂ ለመደገፍ በኢትዮጵያም እንቅስቃሴ እያደረጉ ካሉ በርካታ ግለሰቦች አንዱ ከኔ ጋራ አጭር ቆይታ ያደርጋል። እነሆ!
